Bowen Golf, Golf Canada and First Tee are proud to build the Tim (TK) Kerr Performance Center and Launch First Tee – British Columbia. Together, the partnership brings First Tee’s youth development emphasis to strengthen Golf Canada’s junior golf activities that reach kids in communities, schools, and golf facilities. By integrating life skills curriculum with the game of golf, First Tee programs are creating active learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence and resilience, which is more important now than ever.

First Tee builds these opportunities and experiences through:

• A progressive curriculum that focuses on social and emotional learning objectives through activities that are developmentally appropriate, designed to meet kids where they are.

• Multi-level coach training programs that focus on research-proven methods of positive youth development, providing our coaches with the tools to make kids feel safe, included and empowered.

• An annual slate of advanced national participant opportunities that facilitate growth and inspire personal transformation.

Young people in First Tee programs are:

• More confident in school

• Supported by coaches, who they view as caring mentors

• Active community members

• Always welcome, regardless of financial circumstances

Thank you for partnering with us to provide opportunities where our young people feel supported, safe and better prepared for anything that comes their way. Together, we are Building Game Changers.
