BG is thrilled to announce our first tournament of the year – The Masters!

If you're new to BG’s Masters Tournament, get ready for an exciting experience—and perhaps even the chance to win a prestigious yellow jacket!

Tournament Format

• This year, we’ll be using a shotgun start.

• Teams will be assigned a starting hole the day before the tournament.

• Tee-off time: 10:00 AM.

• 9 holes.

Each participant will be randomly paired with a professional golfer competing in Saturday’s Masters Tournament. This unique setup means you’ll not only be playing for yourself but also for your PGA Tour “teammate.”

Here’s the twist: You won’t know who your pro partner is until after your round! When you turn in your scorecard, you’ll draw a number that corresponds to a professional golfer. This keeps things fair and exciting, ensuring that you give your best effort, no matter how your partner is performing on the big stage.

Post-Round Festivities & Prizes

After your round, enjoy a meal and drink (included with registration - details below), socialize with fellow golfers, and cheer on your pro teammate!

At the end of the event, we’ll announce the winners and present the prestigious Masters Yellow Blazers to the top competitors in Men’s, Women’s, and Juniors divisions.

Join us for our first dog encouraged tournament - Putts & Pups. The tournament has been sponsored by Yellowdog Brewing, in support of the Pacific Assistance Dog (PADs) program. We have had many PAD's dogs in training on our course learning patience and obedience, making this event very close to the Bowen Golf community'sheart. This special day promises fun on and off theens alongside our furry friends.

Your registration not only secures your teams tee time but also includes delicious food and contributes a $10 donation to PADs. After the tournament, unwind to the sounds of live music while enjoying complimentary tastings from Yellowdog Beer Brewing.

For those who can't resist, we'll have adorable PADs puppies onsite for petting in a closed off area, ensuring a very dog-friendly environment for all attendees. As part of our fundraising efforts, we'll also be running a 50/50 draw, with proceeds going directly to support PADs in their mission.

In the loving memory of our friend Tim Kerr, we will be hosting our Annual Two-Person TK Scramble on June 23rd. This will be a day of joy and a chance to celebrate the friendships Bowen Golf has helped create. 

Sign up with a family member, friend or solo and we will match you up with a partner. 
A Two-Person Scramble is a competition format that is exactly what it sounds like: a scramble in which the teams consist of two players each. After each golfer on a team plays a stroke, the teammates compare the results and select the best one. Both players then play the next stroke from that spot. Each team must use at least 3 of each players tee box shots.
Your team will also have a choice of playing 9 or 18 holes.

To keep things fair and exciting, you won't know who your Saturday's Masters Teammate is until after your round when you turn in your scorecard. This ensures that you give your best effort regardless of whether your partner is making birdies or facing challenges.

The winners will be announced at the end of the tournament on Saturday with a presentation of our 3 Masters Yellow Blazers; Mens, Women's & Juniors.

We invite all to join us at The Shed on Sunday to continue supporting your partner. We'll have refreshing drink specials, including $6 short beer cans and $7 tall beers, to enhance your experience.

The Vancouver Canucks partnership with the PGA of British Columbia are proud to announce the return of Canucks Junior Golf Week for 2023, this year featuring Bowen Golf as one of their partnering locations.

This continued community partnership and program is designed to help children and youth from across British Columbia stay active and engaged in sport. Canucks Junior Golf Week will be held July 7-17th with Bowen Golf wrapping up the event on July 17th. 

Children and youth aged 5 and up will have fun learning the game through single-day camps instructed by certified PGA of BC Golf Professionals in their respective communities. Boys and girls from all sports and all skill levels are encouraged to register – no previous golf experience, or equipment is necessary to participate!

Time: 4PM, 5PM, 6PM

Cost: $20

Includes equipment rental (if required), and certified golf instruction. Each participant will also take home a gift courtesy of our program partners, including an item featuring the Canucks logo.
