Theme of the Month: Ball Striking with Irons

 Key Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand the essential impact laws for getting the ball airborne

  • Master setup fundamentals

  • Learn core movements and sequencing for effective striking

Class Details:

  • 4 x 1 hour sessions: $200 +tax

Schedule Options:

  • Tuesdays at 1 PM (Oct 8, 15, 22, 29)

  • Wednesdays at 6:15 PM (Oct 9, 16, 23, 30)

Minimum 3, Maximum 5.

Bowen Indoor League
- Stableford format
- 9 weeks + practice week in the fall/winter season (Oct-Dec)

- 9 weeks in winter/spring season (Jan-Mar)

- 5 Divisions
      - Men's Division (12 handicap or less, 13+ handicap)
      - Senior Division
      - Women's Division
      - Open Division
- Players can play in all divisions that they are eligible for

- All players must download the trackman app to their phone (leaderboard available here)
- All players must establish a Trackman Handicap (1 round minimum)

  - Use the practice round week to establish a handicap
  - Handicaps will update as you play rounds

League Times available on the following days/times:

Tuesdays: 6-9pm

Wednesdays: 9-12pm, 7-9pm

Thursdays: 9-12pm, 6-9pm

Fridays: 10-1pm

Saturdays: 8-12pm


 

Group Sessions

Whether you are just starting out or looking to fine-tune your skills, our group lessons are the perfect way to improve your game in a fun and supportive environment. Utilizing our indoor simulator room and technology-based hitting bays at our TK Performance Center, our coaches can analyze and improve your swing mechanics in real-time. They will also lead the lessons, providing personalized instruction and guidance to help you reach your full potential. The advanced putting green also allows for hands-on practice under the watchful eye of our coaches. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to learn from the best and elevate your golf game.

Private/Semi-Private Sessions

 

Our private and semi-private golf lessons are tailored specifically to your needs, providing personalized instruction and guidance from one of our expert coaches. With a focus on individual attention and feedback, you can improve your swing and perfect your skills in a private setting. For those who prefer a more intimate experience, our semi-private lessons offer the opportunity to learn alongside a friend or family member.

Meet our Coach

Colin Lavers

Colin Lavers is PGA of Canada Class A Professional and Coaching New Competitors Certified Coach.  He draws on a wealth of knowledge, having coached all ages and levels of golfers in his 17 years of experience working at the Seymour Golf & Country Club.  Colin also served as a coach with British Columbia golf for 8 years, where he had the opportunity to help some of the best juniors in BC compete provincially, nationally and internationally.  From 2019 to 2021, as the Head Performance Coach, he was instrumental in creating and coaching the first ever Team BC.  From 2019 to 2021 he also had the pleasure of being an Assistant Coach with the Simon Fraser University Men’s golf team which included a trip to coach at the home of golf, St Andrews in Scotland


Colin is PGA of Canada Coaching New Competitors trained, Trackman Certified, Boditrak Certified and a certified Titleist Performance Institute Level 2 Junior Coach.  He continually strives to learn and has taken courses from renowned instructors including Mike Adams, Terry Rowles and Scott Cowx.  Lavers has received several awards for his work over the years, including the 2012 PGA of BC Apprentice Professional of the Year, the 2013 Lower Mainland Junior Leader of the Year as well as the 2020 PGA of BC Coach of the Year.

 

Colin incorporates a holistic approach to his coaching, understanding that everyone is different in how they learn and absorb information. He looks at all factors that can influence performance and uses his friendly, compassionate nature to get the best out of the player.
